Underwater unit
This project was designed for a young professional woman with a refined sense of order and cleanliness, who planned to live in the space on her own. Although the apartment featured impressively high ceilings, its geometry was challenging - a triangular bedroom and an elongated living room with a cut-off corner that created two obtuse angles on each side of the balcony entrance.
My goal was to turn these irregularities into character - to make the space feel like a private retreat, almost a presidential suite where she could unwind after long working days. The design introduces subtle rituals of rest and self-care throughout the home: reading in a suspended cocoon chair on the balcony, cooking in a sleek kitchen where the functional area is hidden behind custom mechanisms, and performing a daily skincare routine at a built-in makeup station facing the window - turning an ordinary moment into a personal spa ritual.
Every detail was chosen to balance calmness, elegance, and individuality - transforming architectural imperfections into emotional comfort and timeless design.
